We're Hiring RBTs!
To be considered for a therapist position at Summit Autism Center, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Experience
- At least one year of direct teaching experience with children with Autism and severe behavior issues is REQUIRED. Only applicants with this experience will be considered.
- ABA Experience: While it is not required, experience with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs is preferred.
Core Responsibilities:
- Implementing specific teaching techniques following ABA principles.
- Administering behavior plans and tracking progress.
- Collecting data and monitoring client outcomes.
- Engaging with parents and providing updates on client progress.
All staff will receive on-site training to prepare for completing the requirements to earn the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential.
Fieldwork and Supervision
Summit Autism Center also offers fieldwork experience and supervision to candidates enrolled in graduate programs. This provides direct and indirect hours in compliance with current BACB standards. Supervision opportunities include both individual and group sessions.
