Summit Autism Center hires highly motivated, energetic, and creative therapists. It is essential that any applicants love working with children and have the ability to connect with children and get down on their level. Experience with children with Autism and severe behavior issues is REQUIRED. Only applicants with direct teaching experience with children with Autism and severe behavior issues will be considered for these positions. It is preferable if the applicant also have experience with an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) program.
Job requirements include implementing specific teaching techniques following ABA principles, implementing behavior plans, taking data, and working with parents. All staff will be trained on-site in order to prepare for completing the requirements to earn the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential.
Summit Autism Center offers fieldwork experience and supervision to candidates enrolled in graduate programs aligned to meet the current BACB standards. Employment may include direct hours, indirect hours, individual and group supervision.
